User Profile

Your Mathub profile includes:

• Display Name — Your preferred name
• Bio — A brief description of your research interests
• Institution — Your university or research organization
• ORCID — Link your ORCID identifier for academic attribution

Edit your profile in Settings → Profile.

Follow System

Follow other researchers to see their activity in your feed. Following is one-directional — you don't need permission to follow someone.

People Page

The People page lets you discover researchers on Mathub. Search by name, or filter by:

• Role — Admin, Researcher, Member
• Institution — University or organization
• Research area — Based on project participation

Activity Feed

Your home dashboard shows a personalized activity feed with updates from:

• Projects and programs you're a member of
• Researchers you follow
• Efforts you're watching

Reputation & Contribution

Mathub tracks contributions to build a reputation score based on:

• Verified efforts authored
• Reviews submitted
• Wiki pages written or edited
• Forum posts and helpful answers
• Projects created or contributed to

Activity Heatmap

Your profile displays a GitHub-style activity heatmap showing your contribution pattern over the past year. Each cell represents a day, with color intensity reflecting the number of contributions.

Leaderboard

The Leaderboard ranks contributors by reputation score. Filter by time period (weekly, monthly, all-time) and by research area.

Mathub sends notifications for the following events:
